Shoe Ad Project
• What were the learning objectives of the project? What were you trying to accomplish? What is it about? What did you build/make/create?
For this project we where required to create a shoe ad that was in a Z format, had a cool background , contained a logo and slogan with a variety of blending options, the shoe needed to be almost completely a original idea as well as the logo and slogan. Throughout this process we also had to go through many tutorials to figure out how to add new creative things to our Ad.
What did you learn that you didn’t know when you started?
I learned many new things since starting this class. For example I learned how to use adobe photoshop and how to create ads and how to create cool images such as putting my face on a animals face. VERY COOL.
• What was the best part of the project? Why?
The best part of this project was getting to see the final ad, and getting to see everyones else's designs and creativity. During the process of completing the project I learned how to use many tools from photoshop and I now remember which one does what which is exciting because there is so many
• What was the hardest part of the project? Why?
I think the hardest part of the project was showing to the entire class because many of them have different taste then yourself. I thought presenting it to the class was the hardest part of the project because I didn't like how people where being so judgmental, but I guess as artist this will be a on going issue.
What would you have done differently if given another
opportunity?
If I was given another chance to do my project i wouldn't change anything to it. I liked how my final ad came out.
I included this work in my portfolio because I am proud of it and it took a lot of time to look this nice, I think I re-did it like 3 times.
What is the most valuable thing you learned during the project? Why was it valuable?
The most valuable thing I learned during this project was probably that the tutorials are a huge help but they don't always have all the answers to your questions, but Harris does.
